Waiting for IKEA

Date:
22nd February - 27th February
Show time:
8pm
Admission:
€17/€15 Meal Deal €110

After selling out last year ‘Waiting for IKEA’ is back for the last time ever in an extended and even better version. Set in the heart of ‘new’ Dublin, Pimlico where night wear is day wear and bitching is everywhere. Pimlico Flats is akin to Cheers where everybody knows your name, your business, your record and what you are having for dinner. Nothing much changes in Pimlico, each day begins and ends the same; it’s what happens in between that keeps the neighbours gossiping. The Celtic Tiger has been and gone and they never even stroked it. Recession!

“The script is sharp and laugh-out-loud funny and fringe debutante Sheerin and former fringe ‘Best Actress’ nominee McKevitt clearly belong onstage”
Irish Theatre Magazine
“I loved it... hilarious”
Roisin Ingle

Eve Parnell
20th February - 25th March

The resilient delicacy of natural structures is the focus of these images. They convey the wonderful strangeness of those tiny worlds so close to us and so much a part of the earth's life and yet, so alien. Eve had a very successful 2009, with shows including ‘Dragon eyes black’ Solo Exhibition, Café Moda, Rathmines, Dublin 6, 4th March – 4th July ‘Receipt for Life’ Solo Exhibition, Birr Theatre and Arts Centre, Co.
