Professor Henry Higgins takes a bet from Colonel Pickering that he can transform unrefined Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a lady. He does, and young aristocrat Freddy Eynsford-Hill falls madly in love with her.
Jody Trehy is a songwriter who draws on the rich tradition of cabaret and musicals. On Friday March 26th he will be performing a selection from his extensive back catalogue in the cosy, candle-lit surroundings of the Mill Theatre Studio, Dundrum. Having gigged as a singer-songwriter throughout Ireland & UK, he has also written for the stage. His debut show, "How I Failed To Become A Popstar, The Musical", was nominated for Dublin Fringe Theatre Festival's Sexiest Show award.
