http://www.myspace.com/marcoreilly Marc O'Reilly is singer songwriter and native of Waterford. His virtuoso folk guitar style amazes audiences wherever he goes, including elements of tapping, percussion and fingerpicking. It really has to be seen to be believed. His rich bluesy voice has echoes of John Martyn and Chris Rea. This show is a rare Dublin appearance by Marc, so get your tickets now. http://www.myspace.com/elderroche Experimenting with music from the early age of eleven, this Dublin based musical poet has shared the stage with many of Ireland’s well known’s over the years‐ Paddy Casey, Damien Rice, Juno Falls, Juliet Turner and Damian Dempsey. He is no stranger to the press or radio as the past few years have seen Elder grow and establish himself as an entertaining and riveting performer‐ not to mention a solemn musician who remains true to the very elements that preserves the original with the new. He has played in venues across the world (America and Europe) and indeed in Ireland. Embracing the grittier side of life and paving the way with slapping grooves and roots overtones. Elders's theatrical story telling has likened him to Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave and David Bowie. (Who can argue with them comparisons). His fantastic studio album "Nobody Knows" contains catchy progressions and is every bit the way to go in etching his own space within the songs that fuse the current music scene both in Ireland and further afield.
