C Fashion! Sat 16th October Dundrum Town Square.
Time to be confirmed. FREE EVENT!
In these tough economic times, when no one can buy a Chanel bag anymore, Yoyo and Gigi have decided to go down in the street and help out the Dubliners by giving free “haute couture” lessons, re-fashioning people with the trendiest of materials: The Irish Times newspaper.
The Man Who Planted Trees. Tues 19th October 9.30am and 11.30am
Puppet State Theatre Co. present a captivating adaptation of Jean Giono's environmental cult classic. A French shepherd sets out with his dog to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland. Hear the wind, feel the rain, smell the lavender in this multi-sensory theatrical delight. An unforgettable story that shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world.
Suitable for ages 7 and up.
Creatures From Suitcases. Saturday 23rd Pctober 2pm and 4pm
Kidding Ensemble present this delightful show. Two mad scientists, one from Chile and one from France, meet in front of the post office of a small Irish town, Ballyslow. They are both here for the same reason: they want to capture Whoosh, an amazing creature that can only be seen tomorrow or yesterday. Along the way they are telling us about all the other extaordinary creatures they know but the real question remains, will they capture Whoosh?
Suitable for ages 5-9 and families.
